Parktown High School For Girls celebrates 98 years!

PARKVIEW – Parktown High School For Girls went all out recently to celebrate their 98 years.

Parktown High School For Girls turned 98 years on September 4, and to celebrate this auspicious occasion, the Grade 11’s hosted a Covid-friendly, Potted Sports Day.

In addition to celebrating the school’s birthday, the fundraiser was also part of the Grade 11’s fundraising drive for Nkosi’s Haven, their chosen charity.

The day started with a pre-recorded birthday address by Mrs Megom, followed by a birthday message and the birthday cards from each of the six houses. Learners and special guests then watched the Grade 11 play, also pre-recorded, which revealed the Potted Sports Theme, ‘Escape from Reality’.
