Mini council tackles task with enthusiasm

NORWOOD – Over 1 000 sandwiches were made for children from an informal settlement on the day.

Members of the Johannesburg Mini Council had their work cut out for them recently as they did some charity work.

According to Dani Isaacs, Public Relations and Communications for Beyond-co, the young members made over 1 000 sandwiches for the children of the Denver informal settlement.

“Decked out in aprons, hats and masks, of course, the mini councillors took to their task with great enthusiasm and a fun time was had by all,” Isaacs said.
