EMMARENTIA – The Parkview police are pleased to announce that Agnes Elizabeth Lillian de Villiers has been found and is safe.

Parkview police were pleased to announce this afternoon that missing person Agnes Elizabeth Lillian De Villeers has been found and is safe.

Spokesperson for the Parkview Police Station Captain Tintswalo Sibeko said, “The Parkview Saps Management would like to extend their gratitude to the community and the media for their assistance in finding the missing person.”

Parkview Police Station are appealing to members of the public to assist them with information regarding the whereabouts of a 97-year-old women who went missing on Friday 5 March.

According to spokesperson for the Parkview Police Station Captain Tintswalo Sibeko, Agnes Elizabeth Lillian de Villiers was last seen leaving her house in Emmarentia on 5 March at 12.30pm and never returned home.

“Preliminary investigations were conducted and it was discovered that when she left, she was using her white Toyota Tazz and she was in possession of her cell phone which her family tried calling multiple times, but it is unanswered,” said Sibeko.

Agnes was last seen wearing light blue denim fabric slacks ending just above the ankle and a short-sleeved white blouse.

Police appeal to any members of the community to provide them with any information that might assist in finding Agnes.
