Rosies walk, skip and run for the Big Walk

CRAIGHALL PARK – The girls managed to complete 10 laps of 150m around the sports field.

The Grade 00 to 3 girls at St Teresa’s Junior Primary School in Craighall Park painted the field with a sea of colours for their Big Walk. Computer teacher and marketing liaison officer Lianda May said the girls depicted the theme of Our Beautiful World as they came out in true Rosie spirit.

“Girls were seen walking, skipping and running while completing 10 laps of 150m around the sports fields to raise funds for the parents-teachers association. In keeping with safety protocols, each grade walked at half-hour intervals, with masks and social distancing in place, while their teachers crossed off each lap. We are so proud of our Rosies for their enthusiasm and successfully completing all their laps,” May added.
