Parktown High School for Girls in Parkview is pleased to announce that they received a 98 per cent pass rate and 91.7 per cent Bachelor Pass.
The Class of 2020 included 204 girls and achieved a total of 371 distinctions.
Headmistress Tracey Megom commented on the results saying, “The challenges of 2021 brought the whole school community together and I am incredibly proud of our girls and the teachers for achieving outstanding results.”
Of the class, 13.2 per cent of learners achieved an A average while 32.4 per cent achieved a B average and 34.4 per cent of learners achieved a C average.
The average mark in all subjects was above 60 per cent.
Particular mention was made of top achievers including:
- With eight distinctions: Ammaarah Badsha
- With seven distinctions: Madiha Acoob, Christine Bau, Laylaa Moosa, Safiyyah Nakhuda, Maryam Suleman and Aaliya Tayob
- With six distinctions: Anna Hodge, Aaliya Jassat, Sonali Maharaj, Sonia Maharaj, Annabel Norval, Sanishka Pillay and Ammarah Vawda.
