Tributes: Living-legend Dawn Lindberg dies of Covid-related illness
PARKTOWN NORTH – Champion of the theatre world Dawn Lindberg died on 7 December as a result of a Covid-related illness.
Tributes have poured in across social media for beloved Parktown North resident and founder and CEO of the Naledi Awards Dawn Lindberg.
The Naledi Theatre Awards announced on Facebook that Lindberg died as a result of a Covid-related illness on 7 December. Lindberg was educated at Parktown Girls High School.
She was an accomplished entertainer, motivational speaker, singer and champion of the theatre world.
She received the accolade of ‘Living Legend’ alongside her husband Des Lindberg by Minister of Arts and Culture Nathi Mthethwa in 2015.
