Forced perspective photography brings out the creatives at St Teresa’s

She added that they were tasked to use their imagination in their homes, gardens, streets, and to even include their family members in their own forced perspective photographs.

St Teresa’s School junior and senior primary girls were challenged to a photography project that taught them how to play with scale and depth.

Computer educator and marketing liaison at the school, Lianda May, said, “The girls were given examples of forced perspective photography to look at so they could understand how the optical illusion is created by manipulating scale and visual perception.”

She added that they were tasked to use their imagination in their homes, gardens, streets and to even include their family members in their own forced perspective photographs. “With the assistance of their siblings and parents, they produced wildly exciting photographs and have shown just how much they have learnt and just how easy it can be to trick the eye using a camera!” May said.
