Two police stations in Joburg’s northern suburbs temporarily closed

JOBURG – Both stations are currently undergoing decontamination.

Two police stations in Johannesburg’s northern suburbs have temporally been closed today (22 June) following the confirmation of positive Covid-19 cases.

The Sandton and Parkview  police stations have both confirmed positive cases of the novel virus.

According to provincial spokesperson Colonel Noxolo Kweza, both stations are currently undergoing decontamination.

“The Sandton Customer Service Centre will be [reverted] to Gallo Manor. The Parkview Customer Service Centre will be at the [St Peter’s Lutheran] church opposite the station,” said Kweza.

Parkview CPF added that Parkview residents may only go to the station for urgent matters, residents can alternatively make use of the Rosebank and Linden stations.
