An abundance of love at Thornhill Manor for Valentine’s Day

MODDERFONTEIN – Local retirees felt the love on 12 February.


Rand Aid’s Thornhill Manor Retirement Village in Modderfontein hosted a successful Valentine’s Dinner and Sundowner evening on 12 February.

According to deputy manager Jackie Scott, the dinner had a record attendance of about 150 residents and everyone could feel the love.

She added that the dinner was prepared by Cookchill, Rand Aid’s in-house catering division. “Residents raved about the roast beef! The village’s entertainment committee, run by Janet Colville and her amazing team, decorated the hall and tables in red and white – with a liberal sprinkling of hearts,” she said
