Car crash victim pleas for the help from an eyewitness of a multi-vehicle accident in Houghton

A community member who was involved in a multi-vehicle accident on 11th street, between 3rd and 4th (opposite Old Eds sports club) in Houghton Estate heading towards the M1, is pleading for an eyewitness of the incident to come forward.

The accident occurred on 24 October last year at about 1 pm and three motor vehicles were involved, a white Hyundai, a charcoal/blue Nissan Micra and a white Honda.

“We are in search of a particular witness who witnessed a three-car accident that occurred on 11th Street in Houghton Estate on the 24th October 2019,” the community member said.

“We are appealing to a Caucasian woman, driving a white mid-size car who was driving along 11th street, [towards Norwood] who fortunately managed to avoid crashing into a charcoal/blue Nissan Micra that was catapulted into her lane after being hit from behind by a white Hyundai to come forward or contact us. Her witness statement is extremely valuable.”

The community member said they would arrange with their representative to contact her and meet at a time and place convenient for her to document her witness account.
