The aim of the project was to also start teaching Sunday school children and the community about the values of giving back and the importance of the unity of the community. “The children are the future leaders of tomorrow, we need to teach them by our actions how important it is to love, share and care for others no matter the background they come from,” said one of the founding organisers, Petunia Lerato Tlhakwana of the Sunday school.

“When we stop and reflect on the growth of the project from 2016 to 2019, we release how good the Lord has continued to bless us with amazing supporters, sponsors and dedicated team members. It is without any doubt that our dreams are valid and through giving wholeheartedly, it will all be reflected upon each one who contributed to the success of the fun walk.”
