Metro police have arrested two suspects for robbing motorists and pedestrians of their belongings at gunpoint on Wolmarans Street between King George and Nugget streets.
According to Metro police chief David Tembe, Integrated Intelligence Operation Centre (IOC) Reaction Unit officers were notified by Metro officers of the suspects robbing people.

“Reaction unit officers responded to the complaint and patrolled the area. During patrol officers spotted the suspects at Wolmarans Street and Nugget Street,” said Tembe.
“Both suspects were apprehended with one firearm, one knife, and two cell phones were recovered.”
The suspects were charged and detained at the Hillbrow Police Station.
