Hle Ntombela-Mthethwa launches her first ever gospel album
MARSHALLTOWN – The album is due to be released on digital platforms at the end of August.
The Skyrink Studios in Marshalltown, Johannesburg, was transformed and packed to the brim with fans of young and funky contemporary gospel singer Hle Ntombela-Mthethwa on 8 June.
Born and bred in Newcastle, KwaZulu-Natal, this esteemed worshipper has set the tone and elevated contemporary youth music with her angelic husky alto voice.
The young songstress recorded her first 15 songs on the CD and DVD, Your Kingdom on Earth, at the sold-out concert packed with echoes of contemporary worship music.
Hle, as she is affectionately known, performed her most-loved hit songs, originally composed by her and produced by Siyanqoba Mthethwa, live on stage.
The album is due to be released on digital platforms at the end of August this year.
“I am truly grateful for the people who walked this journey with me and I dedicate this album to God,” said Hle.
“It was entirely about Him. His songs, His specific team and vision. Yoh, I’m in awe of the work he is doing through me.”
The show was attended by the likes of Judith Sephuma, Khaya Mthethwa, Jesica Nkosi, Rorisang Thandekiso, Nay Maps and Brenda Mthambo among others.
