Esselen Clinic officially opened for the residents of Hillbrow
HILLBROW – Executive Mayor HermanMashaba and MMC of Health Mpho Phalatse are officially opening the Esselen Clinic today in Hillbrow.
Mayor Herman Mashaba and MMC Mpho Phalatse were joined by Ward 63 councillor, Linda Ntombela, and Regional Director, Irene Mafune at the opening of Esselen Clinic in Hillbrow.
The clinic will cover Hillbrow, the inner-city, Parktown, Joubert Park, Braamfontein, and Doornfontein. The clinic will provide comprehensive preventative and curative health services including HIV and TB-related treatment.

Phalatse said the clinic had a back-up generator and a water conservation tank will ensure that the clinic was always operational.

Esselen Clinic provides multiple services, including mother & child services, chronic health services, immunization, TB testing & screening, prostate cancer testing.
