Learners attend a leadership seminar aimed at motivating the youth of South Africa

Eldorado Park – The City of Joburg recently held the Youth Leadership and Empowerment Seminar at Eldorado park to help the youth identify and work on their passion.


 The City of Joburg hosted the Youth Leadership and Empowerment Seminar at Don Matera Hall in Eldorado Park.

Learners from various schools attended the seminar which was organised by the City of Johannesburg. The chairperson of Gender, Youth, and People living with Disabilities, councillor Nazley Sharif was the master of ceremonies.

According to a statement released by the City of Johannesburg, the seminar focused on the importance of being career-driven and to get young people to believe in themselves and their dreams.

“I have learned a lot from this seminar. I wish for more of the same programmes from the City so that my peers and I can be inspired to make good choices in life,” said Ntoakie Ramokgadi, a Grade 11 learner of Willow Crescent High School.

Sharif encouraged the youth to visit municipal websites to apply for jobs.
