According to a family representative and niece Ncami Zuma, they opened a missing person’s case in October 1999 at Bramley Police Station. “Due to not receiving any information on the whereabouts of my uncle from the police, we as a family decided to contact North Eastern Tribune for an article to be published – if anyone has seen or knows my uncle’s whereabouts.”

Ncami explained that they wanted to know whether a missing person’s case was still ongoing or closed by the police as they weren’t kept abreast of any developments. “We really miss our uncle, especially at family gatherings as he was very special to our family.”
