Inyoni Creek celebrate Summer Fest
LYNDHURST – Inyoni Creek brought the local community together at their Summer Fest.
The Inyoni Creek retirement village was full of life at its recent Summer Fest on 3 November.
The day saw guests, family, and residents having fun with a variety of wonderful activities and delicious food. The spokesperson for the retirement village Cathy Grosvenor said, “Highlights of the day included a fun walk and wheelchair ride through the beautiful village, a host of stalls selling unique handmade items. And plenty to eat and drink.”
The festival-goers were also treated to a special performance from Jeppe High School Pipe Band.
The manager of Inyoni Creek Jenny Tonkin said, “It was a fantastic day, with the weather playings its part. The atmosphere was very festive and the feedback from visitors and residents was wonderfully positive.
“These events are not just about raising funds for the village but creating a caring community and a sense of belonging.”
