Burning building in CBD causes traffic delays
JOBURG - Joburg Emergency Management Services battle another fire in the CBD.
Nana Radebe, the spokesperson for the Johannesburg Emergency Management Services (EMS) has confirmed that an office in a building along Eloff Street in Braamfontein adjacent to McDonald’s was on fire.
She said the fire was quickly extinguished, “No casualties were reported but it was just a small portion that was affected,” she said.
It is not yet clear what caused the fire, but EMS officers are still on site to investigate.
