Torah girls excel

ORCHARDS – The matrics from Torah Academy Girls' High School achieved fantastic results.

 

The Torah Academy Girls’ High School scored incredible results in the 2017 exams.

Principal of the girls’ school Rebecca Sarchi said, “To the matrics of 2017, well done on your wonderful achievements. Each one of you has set and achieved goals. You have spent the past year not only learning but growing and maturing into the most wonderful young adults. Each one of you has made us proud, in all areas of your development.”

Talia Ambrahamson achieved three distinctions.

Rabbi Chaikin added, “Every Torah Academy learner obtained a distinction in life orientation.”

The 15 matriculants from both the girls’ and boys’ schools had a total of 41 distinctions, an average of just under three distinctions per child. The school also achieved a 100 per cent pass rate.

Tamar Korzia achieved an impressive four distinctions.

The top achiever at the school was Keren Netzer who achieved seven distinctions – in Afrikaans, life orientation, maths, physical science, Hebrew, history and life sciences.

Ester Zwick achieved three distinctions.

Alexandra Rosendorff, Ester Zwick and Talia Abrahamson achieved three distinctions. Li Rosendorff, Elisheva Chiger and Adi Barouchi received two distinctions.
