Sandringham police officers arrest a total of 117 suspects during February

The Sandringham Police Station make a total of 117 arrests for the month.

 

The Sandringham Police Station reported a series of successes in February with a total of 117 arrests made for the month.

The arrests were as follows:

  • 4 for possession of an unlicensed firearm
  • 46 for illegal immigration
  • 4 for housebreaking and theft
  • 32 for driving under the influence
  • 7 for possession of marijuana
  • 1 for the possession of counterfeit goods
  • 2 for carjacking
  • 3 for jaywalking
  • 3 for public violence
  • 11 for common theft
  • 1 for common robbery
  • 2 for common assault
  • 1 for assault with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm.

Spokesperson for the Sandringham Police Station Mohlaume Mamabolo called on the local community to report any crimes in their area to the station at 011 719 4822.
