Bramley police and Sun International make winter warm for Marlboro residents

MARLBORO – Residents are now warm this winter after a generous blanket handover.

July, was a month dedicated to charitable acts and saw staff members of the Bramley Police Station playing their part for charity with a blanket donation to Thuthuzela Centre in Marlboro.

The generous donation, in partnership with Sun International, saw 300 blankets handed over to the centre and community members in Marlboro.

This included residents of the Setswetla informal settlement who were on hand to receive the blankets.

The heartwarming visit also saw residents warmed up with soup and bread, and included a clean-up of the centre by staff of Bramley Police Station and Youth Desk members.

A grateful Thuthuzela Centre and residents thanked the police and Sun International for the generous donation.
