Registration for School Enterprise Challenge now open

JOBURG - Read how pupils can earn cash for their school in an upcoming school enterprise challenge initiative.

Johannesburg schools are invited to register and take part in the annual School Enterprise Challenge.

The challenge, which supports pupils and teachers in setting up real school businesses, has begun registration and any school, both nationally and internationally, is invited to enter.

The competition will allow participating schools to put their business skills to practice and stand a chance of winning a whopping R736 611 in cash prizes for their school.

All participating schools and teachers will receive a School Enterprise Award certificate upon completion of the challenge.

Registration is open until 30 April, while the challenge itself will run until October.

Participating schools will have a month to submit their business idea and then another six weeks to develop and submit their business plan.

The School Enterprise Challenge is a student-led business start-up awards programme for schools around the world.
