Ward 73 councillor has high hopes for a great year

JOBURG - Ward 73 councillor, Mia Snyman spoke to North Eastern Tribune about her plans for the year ahead.

Snyman indicated that she would like to ensure that residents are properly consulted regarding any plans for development in the ward.

With recent issues of roads in and around Ward 73, Snyman is hopeful to push requests for the implementation of speed bumps and traffic circles where needed. “I would like to push overall road problems to be sorted out such as potholes,” said Snyman.

Snyman is also going to fight for service delivery. Snyman said, “I would also like to educate residents in terms of reporting their own issues to the City of Johannesburg in order to empower them.

“I would also like the Norwood Primary Sports Ground Project to go smoothly.”

If you are experiencing any problems in Ward 73, please contact Snyman.
