Salvation Army carols by candlelight

NORWOOD - The Lamp Post in Norwood will host their annual carols by candlelight, and this year the event will feature The Salvation Army Brass Band.

The Lamp Post in Norwood will host their annual carols by candlelight, featuring the Salvation Army Brass Band, on 2 December.

Residents are welcome to join in on 2 December, when bands will start performing at 7pm.

Entrance will be free, with mince pies, tea and coffee being served.

For those who wish to donate, donations will be collected for the Salvation Army. The Lamp Post is an antique furniture shop by day, and hosts various events in the evening. The events range from art classes, jazz gigs and swing dance classes.The Lamp Post is also a Non-Profit Organisation funding various charities including Bethany house for abused women and children and the weekly stew kitchen at St Luke’s Church for the unemployed and homeless.

The evening promises to be an enjoyable one with friends and family.
