Thornhill Manor family fun day and fete to take place in October

MODDERFONTEIN - Thornhill Manor’s family fun day and fete is set to take place on 3 October from 9am to 1pm.

Daniel Meijboom is delighted by the many wonderful toys created by the Thornhill Manor Knitters and sold at last year’s fun day.

The fete will be held in the grounds of Thornhill Manor and will include a white elephant table, cakes, tarts, jewellery, raffles, Christmas items, arts and crafts, music, spices, puzzles, clothing, mosaics, handbags, scarves, hats and puppet stalls. Free massages will be offered.

There will be tea, beer and sundowner gardens, as well as a variety of meals on sale, including boerie rolls, egg and bacon rolls, German dishes, pancakes and ice-cream.

Thornhill Manor is situated at 158 Westlake Drive, Lakeside in Modderfontein.
