Jacoba FC receive much-needed minibus

NORWOOD - Jacoba Academy NPC received their first minibus from Nissan after football academy was graciously sponsored by the non-profit organisation Baobabes.

Dimitri Athanasopoulos, chairman of Jacoba Academy said, “We are extremely proud of this moment as it’s a big step for the club towards reaching our goals [after] receiving such an overwhelming sponsor from our amazing Baobabe ladies.

“We are very thankful for everyone’s contributions and the effort that went into getting the bus and making the day so special for Jacoba Academy.”

According to Athanasopoulos, Nissan Melrose and the team from Baobabes worked together in providing the football academy with the stylish transport for their players.

He added, “A special thanks goes out to Caryl and her team of ladies from the Baobabes. You are all amazing and none of this would have happened if it wasn’t for all your hard work. We, as a football club, are very grateful and the boys are extremely happy that we have a team bus now. They thank you from the bottom of their hearts.”
