Norwood police are on the manhunt for three robbery suspects who allegedly robbed a business man and his co-workers in Houghton Estate of items worth about R180 000.

Norwood police are on the manhunt for three robbery suspects who allegedly robbed a businessman and his co-workers in Houghton Estate of items worth about R180 000.

Norwood police spokesperson Constable Nonzwakazi Tsoanyane said the complainant was working when he heard noises coming from outside and went to investigate. Tsoanyane said, “Suddenly they [workers] heard him screaming and they also went outside to check on him. They saw three armed men who pointed a gun at them and threatened them with a knife.”

She added that the men ordered the workers to lie down and tied them up with cable ties. Tsoanyane said, “One of the suspects took cash, a gold chain, watches from the three victims, a Toshiba laptop, iPad, Samsung Galaxy S5 and two iPhone S4s, all to the value of R180 000.”
