Wife thanks care centre

Phyllis Meyerowitz writes:

My husband, Les and I returned from Canada two years ago. It was hard to live there because of the snow and my husband has Alzheimer’s – I felt very blue.

I asked myself, where should I go? What should I do?

Then someone told me of this wonderful home called Elphin Lodge, they said, ‘Why don’t you just phone?’

And that is exactly what I did.

I spoke to the team – may God bless all of you.

They welcomed me and said whenever Les wants he can go and join the activities offered by the occupational therapy service in the Ron Smith Care Centre or just walk in the sun.

The staff all welcome him. They give him tea and cake [when he goes].

I cannot thank you enough for the difference you make.
