SPCA and fire department delight nursery school kids
The Sandton Fire Department and SPCA visited the Adorable Nursery school and delighted children with a variety of activities.
The Adorable Kids Nursery was in for a treat this month as they got a special visit from two organisations.
The first visit came from the Sandton Fire department who came to the nursery on 7 June and included a variety of activities for the children, including a safety demonstration.
According to Shane Crafford of the nursery, the children also got to experience the way a fire truck operated.
The next visit was from the SPCA which brought along a guinea pig to the delight of the children. The visit by the organisation was an effort to teach children the importance of taking care of their pets.
“This was thoroughly enjoyed by all and a big thank you must go to the staff of the Fire Department and the SPCA,” he said.
The nursery also donated food and money to the SPCA.
