Get it right the first time

I have just read an article where Joburg Water placed a water meter in the middle of the driveway causing an obstruction to vehicles unable to get in or out.

There are many other old water meters that have their water lines running under the driveway. Surely some common sense should dictate where these new meters should be placed. What I have noticed is that the new meters are being placed where the old meter was without any consideration or common sense to where the driveway is.

This should be done right the first time and not have the entity coming back to rectify the mistake as this hampers the delivery of installing new meters to the next customer.
