JOBURG – Top five things to do in Joburg this weekend.

Get ready to end off the year on a high. In all its splendour, 2019 had some highs and lows but we still made it through with all our limbs and insanity intact. As this is the year’s last weekend, it’s only right that we close it off on a good note. Check out these events in the City this weekend.

27 December: JoburgPlaces Secret Underground Storytelling Dinner

A magical evening of storytelling combined with delectable food and drinks. A most memorable evening in the city that will leave you mesmerized by the story of a city rebuilt six times in 13 decades! As well as the history of Somerset House – a 1904 bank building, recently re-purposed into the Thunder Walker. Presented by JoburgPlaces at its Thunder Walker venue on Gandhi Square. Storytelling in the Scatterlings Arcade. Dinner in the Zwipi Underground. Book your spot on gerald@joburgplaces for R650.

28 December: Expressive Movement at the MarketPlace

The exhibition will be open until 25 January 2020.
