Joburg’s rising DJ is right on the money

One of the City’s hottest rising DJs, DJ Kabzin, has released a scorching new single Imali featuring songstress Rethabile Khumalo, a vocalist who’s on everyone’s radar right now.

“I made the beat eight months ago and I knew it would resonate well with South Africans.” Said DJ Kabzin.

The DJ said he was in the studio with Rethabile and played her the beat.

“As soon as she heard it; she said that the song should be about money. We shared the same sentiments and 2 hours later we had this hit,” he said.

Rethabile said she had absolute confidence the single would do well.

“I feel good about the song. I feel like it can go far. It’s got that Black Coffee and Black Motion feel. It’s a proudly South African song,” she said.
