Hosted by Nicola Ashcroft and Nicho Barnard, Talent Africa – The Series is set to hit our screens on 5 September. The seven-part series gives the audience a glimpse into the journey of young performers as they follow their dreams in the entertainment and performing arts industries through the international competition Talent Africa, A Family of Performers.

Established over 10 years ago by Melanie Ashcroft, Talent Africa operates with the aim of creating the most prestigious national talent competition which gives artists the best opportunity to be exposed to all that the entertainment world can offer on both national and international levels.

From regional rounds being held across all nine provinces in the country to the massive national events in both Johannesburg and Port Elizabeth which spans over three weeks with over 3 000 participants, all the way through to the international trip to New York City for Talent America.

Premiering on Mindset TV, the show also features guest celebrity interviews with local and international judges and guest mentors sharing their success stories.
