VIDEO: Muzi releases Stimela SeGolide mini documentary
JOBURG – Muzi takes us on a train ride following the release of Stimela SeGolide documentary.
Following a month-long teaser of visuals, lyrics and track snippets, acclaimed DJ, singer and producer, Muzi released his highly awaited Stimela SeGolide EP on 3 May. Known for bridging the gap between the new and older generation of musicians and fans, the four-track EP sees the young muso give a sonic commemoration of the historic gold mine migrations in apartheid South Africa.
The EP was released in conjunction with a four-day DEAD x MUZI pop-up store in Braamfontein as well as a four-day pop-up tour that saw the producer visit Pretoria, Soweto and Joburg. The collaboration with foremost streetwear label, DEAD, debuted to an eclectic crowd that spilt out onto Braamfontein’s De beer Street and was accompanied by an impromptu performance by Muzi a custom DEAD x MUZI stretch taxi.
