PICTURES: Shane Eagle takes us Beyond the Sound
JOBURG – Beyond the Sound’s latest episode features Shane Eagle.
The fourth episode of Beyond the Sound, the 13-episode series, which takes a deeper look at South African musicians and their colourful journey to fame, airs this Thursday on Channel O.
The latest episode features artist, Shane Eagle. The Let It Flow rapper performs songs from his critically acclaimed album, Yellow, as well as speaks on the marriage between hip-hop and fashion and what it means to work with his international peers.
A co-production between Red Bull Music and Channel O, Beyond the Sound, features in-depth interviews and engaging performances with various artists from different musical backgrounds and genres. Beyond the Sound debuted last year February, with engaging, insightful interviews with some of SA’s A-list artists such as Langa Mavuso, Youngsta, and Shekinah.
The rest of the season features top SA artists such as deep house DJ Kat La Kat, new age kwaito duo Darkie Fiction, gqom duo Distruction Boyz and Patrickxxlee and Jackie Queens.
