#ManCrushMonday: Thabo Lens makes moves with images

Dabbling in photography, fashion design and visual arts is Limpopo-born photographer Thabo ‘Thabo Lens’ Matsepane. The Joburg-based photographer has been making moves in South Africa’s creative industry, shooting at the hottest events and having his name attached to photographs of some of the country’s A-listers.

Here are five reasons why we love the photographer:

1. He is an all-around creative, dabbling in photography, fashion, and visual arts.
2. He got nominated for student of the year while studying fashion design at Sew Africa in 2016.
3. His photography is politically charged.
4. He has had his work featured on The Best of Africa, the Design Indaba, Tshwane Fashion Week 2017, AFI Joburg Fashion Week 2017, AFI Cape Town Fashion Week 2018, Top Billing and Creative Feel.
5. He has got a photography series based on celebrating African culture and heritage scheduled for Heritage Month.
