Kick-start your music career with the Moshito MTV Base Demo talent search

Raw and undiscovered talent has been given a chance to showcase their skills at the Moshito MTV Base Demo talent search taking place at the Bassline on 3 September.

The auditions are open to all aspiring musicians, all it takes is to purchase a Moshito Music Conference 2018 ticket to showcase your talents in front of a panel of judges made up of industry experts, radio compilers and celebrity guests who will judge the talent and select the top 20 most promising talent who will be called back 7 September where the winner will be crowned.

With support from Moshito and Viacom International Media Networks Africa channel brands, MTV Base and BET, the talent search is committed to launching new talent by awarding the winner with a career starter pack which includes a professional demo recording, professional biography, a music video to be aired on MTV Base and BET along with their music sampled to local radio stations all worth over R100 000.

“Moshito music conference brings together industry practitioners, experts and talent scouts from all over the world.  The platform given by this conference to emerging talent is an opportunity that every aspiring musician should take up without hesitation, which is to present their music in front of industry decision makers,” said Sinamandla Kwepile, general manager of Moshito.
