Jezile’s well-lived life was celebrated at a memorial service held at Rhema Bible Church in Randburg on Thursday, 3 May.

Friends and family shared their most precious and fondest memories of Akhumzi Jezile:

Sdumo Mtshali and Pallance Dladla, Jezile’s close friends and co-stars on Tempy Pushas said their friendship went beyond the screen as they considered Jezile as a brother.

“This is how he would’ve wanted us to celebrate him – together,” Dladla said.
Musa Mthombeni, Trending SA host and one of Jezile’s best friends, was brought to tears as he spoke about the star and recited a poem titled You Never Said Goodbye by an unknown poet.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, 5 May, and Jezile will be laid to rest at the West Park Cemetery.
