South African Broadcasting Commission staff are currently on strike after wage talks broke down between unions and management.
According to a report by Time Live, Union Bemawu informed members on Monday, 11 December, that it had given the SABC notice of its intention to strike.
The union is demanding a 10 per cent increase‚ while management is offering 4.5 per cent.
