Here in one of Johannesburg’s poorest suburbs, Claude is teaching a group of grandmothers how to box, the result of which is not only the phenomenal health benefits for these 60 year-old-plus ladies but the boost in confidence and the opportunity to be social with friends while getting one heck of a workout.

While Claude can rattle off a list of awards that he has won for bodybuilding over the years, it is the Masakani Community Builder Award for making a difference in his community, that he received in 2000 that he holds most dear.
