The wild Them Particles are back at the Troyeville

TROYEVILLE – The band which is best known for their strange music will be performing for Joburg audiences.

Troyeville Hotel will come alive on the evening of 8 July when Them Particles perform their unique style of music to appease their fans.

The band is best known for its jiving, world mix-up style, occasionally called swamp rock, and they are expected to keep their fans boogying the night away.

Many have confirmed on the band’s Facebook page that they are waiting in anticipation to see them perform this Saturday.

Dax Butler, who now lives in Knysna, posted on his Facebook page expressing his excitement about the event. “So I get to fly into Jozi on Saturday to play with Them Particles at The Troyeville Hotel on Saturday night! Gonna be a helluva thing … if anything, life at sea level has made me even crazier and I have been missing playing with these dudes so much – pair of bad shades and my Fernandes Strat, flip flops for the plane and ginger for my throat. See ya all there,” said Dax.

“I have been freezing the chicken for two weeks in preparation for tomorrow night,” Bronwyn ‘the Giant Squid’ Krige said enigmatically.

“We have had no rehearsals, Dax is miff, so it’s gonna be perfect.”

Date: 28 March
