WATCH: Mathew Gold shares his journey leading up to his new album

Smooth vocals and a guitar are what we love about singer Mathew Gold, but we wanted to find out more about the dreamy star.

He captured the attention of South Africa – and the hearts of the ladies – with his first song, Taking It Easy, and his collaboration with AKA on No Ordinary Guy are some of the first releases that allowed us to truly hear his seductive voice.

In 2013, he released his first album, The Rush, which featured contributions from a number of prominent local artists and producers and now he’s back with his new self-titled album, Mathew Gold.
