Koyo Bala remembered in Newtown
NEWTOWN - South African musician and socialite, Koyo Bala passed away last week after a three-year battle with cancer.

Bala’s life was celebrated on 15 March in a memorial service held at Bassline in Newtown.
Bala was famous for being part of singing trio 3Sum.
The funeral service for Bala will be held on 17 March in Cape Town. His body will be laid to rest at Ottery Graveyard in Cape Town.
According to The Sowetan, Julius Malema, Somizi and Kelly Khumalo attended Bala’s memorial in Newtown, Malema also made a speech at the memorial.
