Reminder: Script tickets go on sale today
After announcing that hit band The Script is coming to South Africa next year, Big Concerts have opened the box office for tickets on 15 September.
The Script have had a huge amount of success globally by selling more than 20 million records worldwide, with all three albums going multi-platinum.
Hall Of Fame, the lead single from the last album, #3, was a worldwide number one single with more than five million sales, 133 million YouTube views and more than 100 million Spotify plays. Their previous #3 world tour spanned 11 months and saw them play sold out shows in Europe, North America, Asia and Australia.
Their latest single Superheroes from their fourth album No Sound Without Silence is currently in the Top 20 of the Kia Top 40 SA. The music video for Superheroes was shot in Alexandra.
Their Johannesburg show on 7 February at Crocodile Creek will also feature a host of local bands including Gangs of Ballet, Beatenberg, Good Luck and Shortstraw.
