NOTICE: Unplanned water interruptions in Houghton
HOUGHTON – Joburg Water warns residents about water cuts on 11 and 12 March.
Joburg Water has provided the following schedule for unplanned water interruptions to take place in Houghton.
Suburb affected: Houghton Estate
- Streets: West Street, Sixth Avenue and Central Street.
- Date: 11 March
- Time: 8am to 6pm
- Impact: Water supply disruption lasting eight hours
- Reason: Connection of the new fire hydrant.

Suburb affected: Houghton
- Street: Fifth Street
- Date: 12 March
- Time: 8am to 5.30pm
- Impact: No water
- Reason: Tie-in.
