Enock Mpianzi’s forensic report to be released by MEC Panyaza Lesufi

PARKTOWN – The release of Enock Mpianzi’s death forensic will finally be released to the public.

Gauteng Education MEC Panyaza Lesufi will release the forensic report looking into the death of Parktown Boys’ learner Enock Mpianzi at 6pm on 4 March.

Enock died on his first day of Grade 8 at Parktown Boys’ High School on 15 January while on a Grade 8 Orientation Camp at the Nyati Bush and River Break in Brits.

This comes after a postponement of the release which was originally meant to take place on 20 February. Gauteng Education MEC Panyaza Lesufi said, “Indeed, after consultation with the Mpianzi family, we find it to be insensitive to release the report without their blessings. Subsequent to our meeting, we agreed that the next session will be held on 27 February.”

The release did not take place on the 27 February but has now been announced as 4 March by Gauteng Education spokesperson Steve Mabona.

The Rosebank Killarney Gazette journalist, who has been following this tragedy, Sarah Koning will be at the formal briefing.
