The Parks team celebrates win against Zoo Lake

PARKHURST – The Parks Netball team co-founder noted the team's improvement after they defeated Zoo Lake at a recent game.

The Parks Netball team went home victorious after a match with the Zoo Lake team at Parkhurst Primary School on 22 February.

According to The Parks team co-founder, Grace Matoni, the team has improved in such much that even their contenders were amazed. “The team is raising the standard every time we play. I look forward to playing more tough and challenging games,” said Matoni.

She added a lot of eager challengers were coming their way, including teams from Botswana. “We might be playing two games a month from March. We will also have a tournament here at Parkhurst Primary School on a date which is yet to be finalised.”

She added that The Parks will also be playing in Alex soon.

The results were:

  • Parks A beat Zoo Lake 35–5
  • Parks B beat Zoo Lake 17–13.
