Five vehicle collision on Bolton Road and Jan Smuts Avenue in Rosebank leaves four injured
ROSEBANK – The accident caused heavy traffic during peak time in Rosebank.
A collision on Bolton Road and Jans Smuts Avenue, Rosebank involving five vehicles has left multiple patients injured on 20 January.
Three patients required advanced life support (ALS) intervention according to a Twitter post by EMER-G- MED. The accident caused heavy delays on both sides of Jan Smuts Avenue and Bolton Road.
Spokesperson for the Metro Police, Chief Superintendent Wayne Minnaar said, “It is alleged that an Avanza vehicle collided with a Hino Bus, a Toyota van, a Nissan taxi, and a Mazda 2. Four passengers as well as the driver of the Avanza got injured and had to be to various hospitals.”

The cause of the accident is under investigation, Minnaar added.
