Alert: Flood warning issued for Joburg
JOBURG – The rains are set to continue for the rest of the week.
After sweltering temperatures in Gauteng this past week, the predicted rain has come across Johannesburg cooling down temperatures.
The heavy rain could lead to flooding in low lying areas in Johannesburg. The Gauteng Weather and South African Weather Service have issued a flood warning for Gauteng, with hotspots including:
- Alexandra
- Fourways
- Johannesburg CBD
- M1 and N3.
The SA Weather (sawx.co.za) has forecast the heavy rains to last until 11pm today (4 December).
