Lesufi visits Parktown Boys announcing the official start of matric exams

PARKTOWN – Matric learners at Parktown Boys were encouraged ahead of their matric exams by Gauteng MEC for education Panyaza Lesufi.

 


Gauteng MEC for education Panyaza Lesufi visited Parktown Boys High School on 23 October to officially announce the start of the 2019 matric exams.

Lesufi addressed the Grade 12s of Parktown Boys, telling them that the matric exams marked the closure of one chapter and the start of a new journey.

Lesufi mentioned the importance of a National Senior Certificate, whether one applies to institutions of higher learning or one applies for a job. He said that it is important for learners to do their best in the exams as a good set of matric results will help open doors.

The MEC and the Gauteng Department of Education officials wished the entire Class of 2019 all the best for their exams.
